Massage Therapy in Boise, Idaho
At Juke Chiropractic & Sports Rehab, our massage therapy is designed to help relieve muscle tension, improve mobility, support recovery, and keep you feeling your best. Whether you're dealing with a specific problem area, soreness from training, or simply need quality hands-on bodywork, each session can be tailored to your individual needs and preferences.
We offer both 60-minute and 90-minute massage sessions with licensed massage therapists who can adjust the treatment style, pressure, and areas of focus based on what you're looking to accomplish.
Therapeutic & Deep Tissue Massage
Therapeutic massage uses hands-on techniques to address areas of muscle tension, soreness, and restricted soft tissue.
For patients who prefer more focused work, deep tissue techniques can be used to target specific muscle groups and areas of persistent tension. Pressure is individualized based on your preference and tolerance rather than using the same approach for every patient.
Common areas of focus include:
-
Neck and shoulders
-
Upper and mid back
-
Low back and hips
-
Glutes
-
Legs and calves
-
Arms and forearms
-
General full-body muscle tension
Your therapist can spend more time on specific problem areas or provide a more comprehensive full-body session depending on your goals.
Sports Massage & Recovery
Training, exercise, sports, and active lifestyles can place significant demands on the body. Massage therapy can be used as part of your recovery routine to address muscle soreness, tension, and the physical demands of regular activity.
Sports-focused massage can be especially useful for runners, lifters, recreational athletes, weekend warriors, and anyone whose hobbies or work place repeated stress on particular muscle groups.
Treatment can be adjusted based on your training, current areas of tension, and upcoming activities.
60-Minute vs. 90-Minute Massage
60-Minute Massage
A 60-minute session works well for targeted treatment or general maintenance. This option allows your therapist to focus on specific areas such as the neck and shoulders, low back and hips, or other regions where you're experiencing tension.
90-Minute Massage
A 90-minute session provides additional time for a more comprehensive treatment while still allowing extra attention to specific problem areas.
This can be a good option for active individuals, patients with multiple areas of tension, or anyone who prefers a more complete full-body massage experience.
Massage Therapy With Chiropractic Care
Massage therapy can be scheduled on its own or used alongside chiropractic care and rehabilitation.
For some patients, massage helps address muscular tension while chiropractic treatment focuses on joint mobility and movement. When appropriate, exercise rehabilitation can then be used to improve strength, mobility, and physical capacity.
You do not need to be experiencing significant pain to benefit from massage. Many of our patients use regular massage as part of maintaining their bodies, recovering from activity, and continuing to do the things they enjoy.
What to Expect From Your Massage
Before your session begins, your massage therapist will discuss what you're looking for, any areas you'd like to focus on, and your pressure preferences.
Communication throughout the session is encouraged. Massage should be tailored to you, and your therapist can adjust pressure, positioning, or treatment focus based on your comfort and goals.
Our goal is for you to leave feeling like the session addressed what your body actually needed that day.
